There are 3 options for connecting your Naze32 receiver. First is PWM, requires connecting a wire from your receiver to the naze32 for each channel, a total of 8 wires. Second is PPM, requires a receiver that supports PPM (like the FrSky D4R-II), and one single wire. Third is Serial (S.bus or satellite for example), requires a receiver that supports a serial signal (like the FrSky X4R-SB or a DSM satellite) and one single wire.
On Screen Display, OSD, allows you to see flight data from the flight controller, on your video feed. Displaying the battery voltage, flight mode, timer, and Name can be useful. There are two possible ways to do so.
X4R SB comes with a stock firmware allowing s.bus only. We will flash X4R SB with a newer firmware which will allow us to use it either in s.bus, or PPM. On top of that, channels 2 and 3 on PPM mode will act as CH9 and CH10.
