There are 3 options for connecting your Naze32 receiver. First is PWM, requires connecting a wire from your receiver to the naze32 for each channel, a total of 8 wires. Second is PPM, requires a receiver that supports PPM (like the FrSky D4R-II), and one single wire. Third is Serial (S.bus or satellite for example), requires a receiver that supports a serial signal (like the FrSky X4R-SB or a DSM satellite) and one single wire.

X4R SB comes with a stock firmware allowing s.bus only. We will flash X4R SB with a newer firmware which will allow us to use it either in s.bus, or PPM. On top of that, channels 2 and 3 on PPM mode will act as CH9 and CH10.
